Navy Employee Dismissed After Had A S@x Change Surgery


Indian Navy sailor named Manish Giri has lost his job after he gone through a s@x change surgery. Mr. Manish had undergone this s@x change surgery during his leave in august with no prior information to the department.

In the press release issued by the Indian Navy, it is mention that the navigator did it on its own. In the same statement navy also mention that the Indian Navy has removed sailor Manish Giri as he Violate the recruitment rules and eligibility criteria. Since by adopting the new gender status after joining the Navy, he clearly broke the rule of recruitment and the qualifications of his appointment.

It is the first case of this kind in front of Navy. And because the eligibility criteria for navigator post in Navy clearly say that only male candidate can apply for this post but Manish Giri are no longer in that situation. So that due to policy violation for eligibility is enough to take action against him.

Few day back, in the interaction with the media, Mr. Giri had told that 7 years ago he was joined as a soldier in the Marine Engineering Department of Eastern Naval Command and he was born Male by birth.
After the surgery in New Delhi, he back to work at Naval Base of Visakhapatnam. But Manish Giri after the surgery is totally different from previous one.

After this, Navy sent his case to Defense Ministry, and after few days it is decided to take him out of Navy.
