Let’s tell you that this film is based on the Emergency Period (i.e., the 21-month long period from 1975 to 1977), then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi announced an emergency in the country.
There is a lot of resentment in the Mumbai Congress and Sanjay Nirupam, chairman of the Mumbai Congress Committee, says this film should be shown to them before being sent to the censor board.
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has said in his forthcoming film ‘Indu Sarkar’ he will neither cut anything in the film and will not show to anyone before the release.
Just got out of #InduSarkar film censor screening.Am appalled at the 14 cuts suggested by the committee. Will go to the revising committee.

Because of protest from Maharashtra Congress, First Pune’s press conference then later Nagpur’s press conference by Filmmaker Bhandarkar has been canceled.
Madhur Bhandarkar protested regarding this through Twitter And he wrote on twitter while tagging Rahul Gandhi “Do you approve of this felony? Do I have the freedom of expression?” Let me tell you that the Congress Party members are protesting against film just after release of film’s trailer.
